College of Public Health Diversity Scholarships

This is a diversity outreach scholarship for new incoming first-year students who are US citizens or permanent residents who qualified for direct admission to and are enrolled in the public health major. In addition, one or more of the following criteria must be met: race/ethnic background, socioeconomic factors (based on the results of the Free Application for Federal Student Aid filed on/after October 1), and/or first-generation college student. Up to two renewable scholarships will be given per year.

Up to $2000 annually; renewable for an additional three years provided you maintain continuous full-time enrollment in the major and a 2.5 cumulative University of Iowa grade point average.
