Avis Cone Undergraduate Research Fellowship
The applicant must be a Biology major undertaking laboratory research in the Department of Biology. The criteria for this award is for a student working in a laboratory using organisms that have chlorophyll-based metabolic processes or a laboratory that studies aspects of zoology or research within the field of conservation biology.
Application process: 1) A project proposal (3 single-spaced pages maximum): introduction, overall research goals, specific experiments to be undertaken during the Fellowship period, and a brief discussion as to how the applicant’s project fits into the overall research agenda of the laboratory. 2) A brief paragraph indicating the applicant’s academic interests and future plans. 3) A letter of recommendation to be e-mailed by the applicant’s research adviser to Lori Adams (email@example.com) by 5:00pm on April 15, 2019.
