Laurence Fairall Scholarship

Awarded to currently enrolled students who were born and reared in Iowa (the recipients must be Iowa residents by birth and have been educated in Iowa). Students must have at least a 3.0 cumulative University of Iowa grade point average and be enrolled full-time. Financial need is not a requirement of this scholarship. The scholarship recipient shall be a senior or graduate student enrolled at the University of Iowa intending and willing to devote themselves to subjects which will better them for the United States Diplomatic Service.

Students are nominated by the Political Science department. A committee from the Office of Student Financial Aid and Fairall Trustees make the final awarding decisions.
