Ray Collins Scholarship

This scholarship will support one or more annual scholarships to a deserving student in the College of Engineering. This award is meant to honor the legacy of Ray Collins (1923-2005) who understood the importance of communication skills to the engineering profession and felt his own career was advanced due to his abilities to communicate and work in a team environment. Preference to be given to engineering students who serve as peer consultants in the Hanson Center for Communication. Also, students considered for this award should be Iowa residents who are in need of financial support to complete their engineering education.
