Iowa Farm Scholarship/Iowa Basketball Lettermen Fund
The Iowa Farm Scholarship/Iowa Basketball Lettermen Fund was created to help Iowa farm families with the cost of educating their children. One of the Iowa Farm Scholarships awarded each year will be granted in memory of Chris Street, an Iowa Basketball player killed in a 1993 traffic accident.
Eligible students must meet the following criteria:
• Demonstrate financial need, determined by filing a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) no later than March 1.
• Be an entering freshman planning to enroll full-time (12 or more hours per semester) in a degree program at the University of Iowa.
• Be ranked in the upper 25% of your graduating high school class.
• You and your parents must be living on an Iowa farm and your parents must be operating the farm.
This is a one-time award.
