Hawkeye Experience Grant
The Hawkeye Experience Grant for Summer 2025 is open to University of Iowa undergraduate students who have acquired an unpaid or underpaid internship in the United States, an internship abroad via Study Abroad, a research or creative scholarship experience, a service/community-engagement summer project, or short field experience required to enter a field (like Geologic Field Methods or Archaeologic Field Methods). The grant is to cover expenses associated with participating in the experience, prioritizing living expenses before any tuition or fees. (If you have yet to receive an internship offer by the grant deadline, you may still apply but funds will not be awarded until the site is confirmed).
Review all student and site eligibility requirements, directions/tips, FAQs before applying, see eligible expenses, available help sessions, access the required budget and site confirmation forms, and understand the different application pieces here.
Individuals with disabilities are encouraged to participate in University of Iowa programs. If you are a person with a disability and require an accommodation in order to apply, please contact Jennifer Noyce at the Pomerantz Career Center, (319) 335-1023.
Application deadline is the first Friday in April. * The application closes on April 4, 2025.*
Questions about the application can be submitted to Jennifer Noyce at jennifer-noyce@uiowa.edu or 319-335-1023.
