Nicholas Meyer Playwriting Scholarship
Designed to encourage potential playwrights and screenwriters to pursue their studies at the University of Iowa, the Nicholas Meyer Playwriting Scholarship is awarded each year to a registered undergraduate student, pursuing the study of dramatic writing for stage, television, and film. The recipient of this scholarship is chosen on the basis of academic record and demonstrated ability in writing, with emphasis on the latter.

- Please submit several samples of writing including a completed script. Total sample should not exceed 150 pages and may be as little as 35 pages. Upload it in pdf format. (Maximum file size is 10 MB. If a file is over 10 MB in size, it will be rejected.) Questions regarding this particular scholarship should be forwarded to Art Borreca, art-borreca@uiowa.edu.
