Our Opportunities

Welcome to the Iowa Scholarship Portal for Undergraduate Students!

The University of Iowa has hundreds of scholarship opportunities available. Opportunities can be a combination of general scholarships (open to all students) and departmental scholarships (restricted to students within a specific major or field of study). Scholarships may be recommended to you at different times throughout the year as applications become available, so we suggest visiting the Iowa Scholarship Portal often. Please keep in mind this section lists scholarships available regardless if you are eligible or not.

Please take a moment to review the University of Iowa Scholarship and Grant Policies.

If you have any questions concerning the scholarship application process, please email adm-scholarship@uiowa.edu. You may also visit our website for additional instructions and helpful information.

Admitted and currently enrolled students: Sign in using your Hawk ID and password to begin the scholarship application process. Once logged in, the system will automatically direct you to required applications.

*Automatch — If this term is noted under “Actions” below, you are automatically matched to these opportunities after completing your General Application and college or department level applications. College and department level applications are automatically made available to you after completing your General Application. Not all departments have additional applications, so depending on your program of study, you may or may not have one presented to you.
