College of Public Health Dean's Scholars
This is a scholarship for new incoming first-year College of Public Health students who were directly admitted to the public health major with a 30 ACT and 3.8 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Two scholarships will be given; one to an Iowa resident and one to a non-Iowa resident.
The College of Public Health’s Dean’s Scholars are high-achieving students who are critical thinkers with a sense of service and compassion. The College of Public Health provides four years of scholarship support to this select group of students with the expectation that these scholars will demonstrate a commitment to address the grand challenges in public health. Through the Iowa Institute for Public Health Research and Policy, Dean’s Scholars are invited to participate in professional and social activities that will enhance their public health experience by providing opportunities to attend conferences and seminars and meet with nationally known public health experts.
