Ruth Frederick Dunlap Scholarship

The Ruth Frederick Dunlap Scholarship was established by Mary Dunlap Smith in memory of her mother, Ruth Frederick Dunlap. Mrs. Dunlap was a supervisor in the OB-GYN Department for a number of years, and was a 1921 graduate of the College of Nursing. The scholarship criteria are: a pre-licensure BSN student who has financial need (FAFSA required), with preference given to a student from a small community in Iowa. This scholarship is renewable as long as the student continues to meet the criteria of the award.
